Obama: US combat in Iraq over, 'time to turn page'

The article, Obama: US combat in Iraq over, 'time to turn page', found in The Miami Herald, written by Ben Feller on the end of “the U.S. combat role in Iraq after seven long years of bloodshed” was very well written. Reading through the story, I could tell that Feller asked all the questions necessary to complete the story and did not leave me with any questions. Feller paid attention to every detail from events that happened in the past to the tone of President Obama’s voice when he delivered his speech. Although he did not get any direct quotes from the president himself, he did use the quotes efficiently to portray Tuesday’s events. The journalist not only expresses the facts, but also describes them in a narrative to capture the readers attention and convey the correct message. I believe that with the resources that he had, Feller did a wonderful job at writing this story.
